Polysorbate acts as an emulsifier, or solvent for fats. It creates conditions for an even distribution of oil and prevents the formation of a greasy film on the surface. It is considered safe for life and health even when used for food. Polysorbate is of 4 types - TWEEN 80, 60, 40 and 20. They differ in the composition of fatty acids and concentration. For the production of hydrophilic oil, polysorbate number 80 is often used.
3. Perfume added to give the oil a specific flavor. They can be natural or synthetic. Fragrances can cause allergies, which is why some of the hydrophilic oils are available without them.
4. Dyes - natural or synthetic.

Additional components:

• vitamins;
• extracts of, for example, green tea, citrus fruits, green apple;
• fruit acids;
• emollients.

How hydrophilic oil works

Fats are naturally insoluble in water. If you try to combine them, stirring vigorously, then for a while an aqueous medium is formed, where balls of fat are distributed. This emulsion will not be permanent. As soon as this mixture is left alone, the fat and water will begin to separate into 2 polar phases.

To obtain a stable emulsion, special components - emulsifiers - are added to the water-fat composition. They, as surface active substances, manage to retain water and fat between themselves, making the emulsion more stable.

In a hydrophilic oil, polysorbate plays the role of an emulsifier, which can combine several oils at the same time.

The tool adsorbs (absorbs, attracts) pollution molecules, cosmetics from the epidermis, from the depths of the pores. It acts like a sponge, absorbing everything that needs to be removed. In contact with water, oil emulsifiers transform the product into a delicate foamy mass that can be easily washed off with clean water.

The hydrophilic oil for washing was patented in Germany, but it gained the greatest popularity in the east.

How to use hydrophilic oil for washing

Hydrophilic Cleansing Oil is available in dispenser bottles. For one wash, 4 doses are enough. The tool should be squeezed out in the required amount, lightly rub your palms against each other, heating the oil.

• oily, oils of rosehip, jojoba, neem, hazelnut, grape seed, rice, sesame are recommended;

• dry - from olive, avocado, flax, coconut, shea, wheat germ;
• normal - from grape or apricot seeds, almond, coconut;
• combined - from coconut, apricot kernels, peach, from almond kernels.

For sluggish aging skin, it is recommended to use rose oil and add vitamin A.

Organic oils:

• from apricot kernels - 30 ml;
• from almond kernels - 30 ml;
• coconut - 30 ml;
• polysorbate - 10 ml;
• vitamin E - 2-3 drops.

Mix the required amount of coconut oil from apricot kernels, almonds, vitamin E, add polysorbate, pour the mixture into a glass bottle. Shake well before use.

Organic oils:

• from grape seeds - 10 ml;
• from almond kernels - 50 ml;
• from wheat germ - 10 ml;
• pomegranate - 20 ml;
